Edward Thompson, FNP-C

Edwards (Ted) Thompson, FNP-C, is a certified family nurse practitioner at Maltman Medical Center, located in Knoxville, Tennessee. He has eight years of diverse experience in the following fields: medical-surgical, internal medicine, and individuals with disabilities. His mission is to promote wellness and the overall health of his patients by providing compassionate, high-quality care.

Ted began his professional studies at Pellissippi State Community College and earned his bachelors degree from Tennessee Wesleyan University in 2014. He earned his Master of Science in Nursing at Lincoln Memorial University.

Ted has called East Tennessee home for nearly all of his life. He has two children with his wife of 18 years. They enjoy rooting for the Vols, fishing, camping, and spending time with friends, family, and their two dogs.
